My name is Lyn Barefoot and I started training in July 2012  at the Carlton Institute gaining Diplomas in nail and beauty treatments.  Hence the name Barefoot Nails and Beauty!

I did my first massage course in August 2012 and since then it has become my passion.  I now hold a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in massage and specialise in many types of massage.

I had volunteered at the North Devon Hospice for the past 5 years, helping out at their pamper days for patients and one to one sessions with patients and carers.

I have recently qualified in cancer care, which now enables me to provide massage, reflexology, and reiki to cancer patients.  

 I work to the code of practices set down by HABIA - Health and Beauty Industry Authority and I am fully insured.

I started teaching in 2016 after qualifying in Education and Training and also Assessing.  I now teach beauty and holistic courses in my own therapy and training rooms in Bideford.

I am also a member of the Guild of Beauty Therapists, The Guild Of Holistic Therapists and The Federation of Holistic Therapists.
